For this reason, Promusic DJ Academy has been conceived taking inspiration from the standards of leading international DJ academies, while creating our own identity and philosophy here in Marbella.

PIONEER DJ CDJ-3000X & VINYL

One of the most important spaces at Promusic DJ Academy is our professional room dedicated to Pioneer DJ CDJ-3000X and vinyl.

The concept behind this room is to bring together two essential sides of DJ culture: the latest generation of professional digital DJ technology and the traditional art of mixing with turntables.

Working with Pioneer DJ CDJ-3000X gives students the opportunity to become familiar with professional equipment and develop the confidence required to perform in demanding DJ environments.

At the same time, vinyl remains an essential part of our philosophy.

Learning to mix with turntables develops listening skills, precision, timing and a deeper understanding of beatmatching. Without depending entirely on visual information, students learn to trust their ears and understand how two tracks interact during a mix.

The objective is not simply to learn how to operate the equipment.

We want students to understand music selection, structure, timing, beatmatching, transitions, phrasing, mixing techniques and set construction, while gradually developing their own musical identity.

Modern technology and traditional DJ culture come together in the same professional environment.

A PROFESSIONAL ACADEMY DESIGNED DOWN TO THE LAST DETAIL

From the beginning, we knew that Promusic DJ Academy needed to be more than a collection of DJ booths inside a commercial space.

We wanted to create an Academy where people genuinely enjoy spending time.

DJing and music production require concentration, creativity and many hours of practice. The environment therefore becomes an important part of the learning process.

Every room has been designed to provide a balance between professional functionality, privacy and comfort.

Each space features independent air conditioning, allowing the temperature to be controlled according to the needs of the students and the activity taking place inside the room.

Every room also has its own minibar fridge, so students and professionals using the facilities can remain comfortable during longer sessions.

Furniture, lighting, equipment positioning and room layout have all been considered to create spaces that feel professional without becoming cold or impersonal.

We want students to feel comfortable enough to concentrate completely on their music.

PROFESSIONAL ACOUSTIC TREATMENT & MONITORING

Sound is at the centre of everything we do.

For this reason, our rooms feature dedicated acoustic treatment, creating controlled environments designed specifically for DJ training, music production and extended listening sessions.

Acoustic treatment is particularly important in spaces where students may spend several hours mixing or producing music. A more controlled environment makes it easier to concentrate on the details of a mix and creates a more comfortable listening experience.

We have also taken a personalised approach to monitoring.

Not every room at Promusic DJ Academy uses exactly the same speakers.

Our CDJ-3000X and vinyl facilities, Pioneer XDJ-RX3 training room and Music Production Studio have different technical requirements.

The monitoring and speaker systems in each space have therefore been selected according to the specific purpose, dimensions and characteristics of that room.

Our objective is to provide a listening environment that feels powerful, accurate, controlled and comfortable, whether you are learning your first transitions, preparing a professional DJ set or working on a new production.

DIFFERENT ROOMS — DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES

Promusic DJ Academy has been developed as a complete professional facility rather than a single DJ classroom.

Our Academy includes several specialised spaces, allowing students to experience different technologies and different approaches to DJing and music creation.

One of our training rooms features 6 Pioneer XDJ-RX3 systems, providing students with direct access to professional Pioneer DJ equipment and allowing them to spend meaningful time practising.

We also offer our professional Pioneer DJ CDJ-3000X facilities, dedicated vinyl training and a professional Music Production Studio.

The idea is to allow students to progress naturally.

Someone can begin by learning the fundamentals of DJing, develop confidence and technique, progress to more advanced professional equipment, discover vinyl and, if they wish, move into music production.

Everything can happen within the same Academy.

This creates an environment where students are not limited to learning one piece of equipment or one particular way of DJing.

They can experience different workflows, technologies and techniques while discovering which direction best suits their individual style.

SMALL GROUPS & PERSONALISED TRAINING

We do not believe in overcrowded classrooms.

Our philosophy is based on small groups, personalised attention and practical experience.

DJing cannot be learned simply by watching someone else use the equipment.

Students need real time behind the decks.

They need to select tracks, touch the controls, listen carefully, make decisions, make mistakes, correct them and repeat the process until the movements and techniques become natural.

That is why practical training is a fundamental part of the Promusic DJ Academy concept.

Our instructors work closely with students, helping them develop their technical abilities, musical knowledge and confidence.

Every student is different.

Some arrive without any previous DJ experience. Others already perform and want to improve their technique or become familiar with professional CDJs. Some are interested specifically in vinyl, while others want to take the next step and begin producing their own music.

We want to respect those differences.

Our objective is not to create DJs who all sound the same. It is to provide the tools, knowledge and professional environment that allow each person to develop their own sound, confidence and musical identity.

PRIVATE DJ STUDIO RENTAL IN MARBELLA

Promusic DJ Academy is not exclusively for students enrolled in our courses.

Our professional rooms can also be rented by the hour, subject to availability.

This service is designed for experienced DJs and producers who already know how to work independently but need access to professional facilities.

You may be preparing for an important performance, testing a new set, organising your music, practising transitions, returning to vinyl or simply looking for a private place where you can spend a few hours behind professional equipment.

Our facilities provide that possibility.

This is particularly useful for international DJs who are visiting Marbella, staying in Puerto Banús or spending part of the year on the Costa del Sol.

Travelling with a complete professional DJ setup is not always practical.

Instead, you can book a professional room and continue practising during your stay in Marbella.

Depending on the room, equipment availability and project requirements, our facilities can be used for private DJ practice, set preparation, recording sessions, streaming and other professional projects.

The concept is simple: professional equipment, professional surroundings and the privacy to concentrate on your music.

MUSIC PRODUCTION STUDIO IN MARBELLA

DJing is only one part of the creative world we want to develop at Promusic DJ Academy.

We also have a dedicated Music Production Studio for students who want to understand how music is created and begin developing their own productions.

Our Music Production training combines professional instruction with practical studio experience.

Students can develop their understanding of production while having the opportunity to practise in a dedicated environment.

The studio is also available, subject to availability, to experienced DJs and producers who already know how to produce and simply require a professional space where they can work.

It can be used to develop original tracks, remixes, melodies, arrangements, edits and other music projects.

For DJs, learning production can also open a completely new creative direction.

Instead of only selecting and mixing music created by other artists, production gives you the opportunity to begin developing your own sound.

PROFESSIONAL SOUND ENGINEERING SEMINARS

Promusic DJ Academy also extends beyond DJing and music production.

We offer Professional Sound Engineering Seminars focused on practical experience with different professional digital mixing consoles and real-world audio systems.

These seminars are designed for people who want to develop practical skills related to live sound, concerts, events and professional productions.

Training can include digital console operation, signal routing and configuration, mixing techniques, microphones, monitoring systems, sound system setup and the workflow required in professional live sound environments.

The objective is to provide practical knowledge that can be applied outside the classroom.

For us, understanding sound is an important part of understanding the wider music and events industry.
